More and more tech-savvy customers will enjoy faster and more reliable internet connection with the Philippine Long Distance Co.’s (PLDT) move of widening the coverage of their fiber to the home (FFTH) fixed internet service in Manila.

FTTH or Fibr brings broadband services to Metro Manila dwellers through its fiber optic cables. The fiber optic cables serve as facilitators in bringing high speed browsing and downloading to its users.

Ariel Fermin, PLDT Executive Vice President and Head for Home Business said that the FTTH expansion includes areas such as Alabang 400, Alabang Hills, and Hillsborough in Muntinlupa; Dasmariñas Village, San Lorenzo Village and Urdaneta Village in Makati; and Acropolis, Greenhills, Green Meadows, La Vista and Valle Verde in Quezon City.
