A Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) that stops the suspension of Roderick Paulate, Francisco Calalay, and Vicente Bajamunde due to their case of allegedly hiring ghost employees was issued by the Court of Appeals (CA).

The TRO will be effective for 60 days and will disable the May 18 order that suspends Paulate and two others from their work in the Quezon City government.

The TRO issuance of the appellate court states that Paulate et al. will “suffer great or irreparable injury” if they do not issue it.

The Ombudsman and the Department of Interior and Local Government will have 10 days to comment on the issuance of TRO.
