PNP concern on riding-in-tandem

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is concerned and is wary of continuous crimes done by criminals in riding-in-tandem.

Chief Superintendent Generoso Cerbo Jr. said that riding-in-tandem criminals have been common for the first six months of the year. He however said that they were able to ‘neutralize’ 300 riding-in-tandem criminals- some arrested while some were shot to death.

The PNP, despite their cautiousness regarding riding-in-tandem in Metro Manila, boasted of a lower crime rate in the area.

Cerbos said that there has been a lower crime rate during the past three months, including 21 areas in Metro Manila that they consider as crime prone.
