Lenovo Group Vice President and Lenovo NEC Holdings Executive Chairman Roderick Lappin is still keen that Lenovo will be able to recover after its market share slid by 8.1 percent.

The No.2 computer manufacturer lost eight percent in its market share, pulling the company’s shares down to HK$ 6.30.

Lenovo’s slip occurred after the NEC Corp. sold its stake in the company for 18 billion yen.

Lappin said that NEC’s decision to sell its stake will have no impact on its business venture especially, with China driving its sales to the rooftop.

The company will be focusing on Brazil where most of its losses stemmed.
