PNoy finishes APEC Summit; returns
Philippine Pres. Benigno Aquino III has successfully returned from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leader’s Meeting in Vladivostok, Russia where he met with the region’s different leaders to discuss on issues that it is facing and will be facing in the near future.
Pres. Aquino disclosed that the APEC Summit has strengthened the relationships of the countries that are part of the region. He also shared that they have discussed on various issues such as food security, investment, and the Asia-Pacific’s economy.
Pres. Aquino had bilateral talks with leaders from Chile, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore. His meet with Chilean President Sebastian Piñera was about employment and possible investments while his discussions with Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore, were regarding the West Philippine Sea territorial dispute.
