GFI Labs warns of a GTA Vice City malware
Fans of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Vice City who uses devices ran by Android should think twice before downloading the game on their technology.
GFI Labs reported that the downloadable game in the Android market is a Boxer malware that drains a user’s load by sending messages to premium numbers.
The security vendor made clear that the only games by Rockstar, GTA creator, available on the Google lay site are GTA3 and Max Payne.
When a user downloads the file, s/he is required to download a flash player that sends the user to a false website of a flash player.
